About me

Iā€™m Dr. Sohrab Arora, a urologist trained at SGPGI, one of the finest centers for Urological training in India. I specialize in Robotic surgery and did my fellowship in the subject from Medanta, Gurgaon. I have worked as a consultant in Robotic surgery at Fortis Escorts kidney and Urology Institute in Delhi before I moved to the United States. Currently I am a Senior fellow in robotic surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. I am committed to clinical research that makes the art of surgery better, and have over 50 publications and conference presentations in my field. Besides this, I have written severall book chapters and am also an editor and reviewer to many peer reviewed journals, including the Journal of Urology, Indian Journal of Urology and International Journal of Urology. Research and peer review help keeping myself abreast with the best technological advances in Urology and Kidney transplant. My endeavour is to provide quality care to my patients, make the surgical experience easier for the patient, and make uro-surgery cost effective without compromising on quality.
